Small Business Opportunity Survey
As part of the Kansas City Catalytic Urban Redevelopment (KC-CUR) initiative, LISC-Greater KC and the Urban Neighborhood Initiative (UNI) are launching a listening campaign to hear directly from minority and women-owned businesses on Kansas City’s near east side. This is an opportunity for business owners to tell their stories, connect with resources and name what they need to sustain and grow their businesses.
LISC and UNI are working with their consultant, Eastside Collaborative, to engage hundreds of business owners through the KC-CUR Small Business Opportunity Survey, one-on-one conversations and community meetings. The survey focuses on women and minority-owned businesses on the city’s near east side, which roughly spans from Troost Avenue to Prospect Avenue, and from 52nd Street to Truman Road.
